Props for Thought: Best NFL Week 15 Player Props

by | Dec 17, 2022 | Football

We find ourselves in the latter portion of the season with a plethora of player props to comb through. Additionally, it’s also the first week of most Fantasy Football playoffs, giving us two reasons to get in the lab and dig into the stats. The good news is that we’ve done the thinking for you and come up with our Wicked Wagers for Sunday. Let’s jump into the best NFL week 15 player props for the first NFL Saturday/Sunday slate of 2022.

Jonathan Taylor NFL Week 15 Player Props

Total Rushing Yards Over 82.5 (-115) – BetRivers

This will be a fun game to watch if you’re into bad teams and bad defense. The Colts are bad, and truly one of the more disappointing teams in the league this year. Minnesota has a terrific offense, but can’t stop anyone from scoring, boasting one of the worst defenses in the league.

Jonathan Taylor has been a bright spot for this team when on the field. He has been incredibly consistent in terms of production. Over the last four weeks, he has seen no fewer than 20 carries. Additionally, he has no less than 82 yards per game over that stretch. The Colts are coming off of a bye, so they have had extra time to prepare. Not to mention, heal and refocus on what they need to do to keep this game competitive, run the ball.

Jeff Saturday will have to keep his offense on the field for long stretches, keeping Minnesota’s offense on the sidelines. Expect Taylor to see no less than 20 carries against this porous Vikings front. He will take those carries and convert them to well over 82.5 yards on Sunday. BetRivers also has over 20.5 carries at +100 odds, which is another great play.

Since they are correlating plays, go ahead and parlay them for +140.

Josh Allen NFL Week 15 Player Props

Total Passing + Rushing Over 286.5 (-117) – BetRivers

We all love Josh Allen. Not only has he been a top three quarterback in Fantasy Football, but he’s a fun player to watch. The young quarterback has the Bills poised for a deep playoff run.

This Sunday, in what will be a cold and snowy night game in Buffalo, the Bills host their division rival. There’s been a lot of hype about the snow, and Tua never having won when it’s below 50 degrees. However, I’m not buying into that. This game will be high scoring, and the Bills are going to put on a show. There’s something special about this team when they play in front of Bills mafia, and it shows with their 31.2 points per game at home.

Josh Allen is not only the quarterback for this team, but also their best rusher. The last time they played, Allen amassed 447 yards of offense, and you can expect the same in this one. Miami gives up 242.5 passing yards per game, a number that jumps to 259.4 on the road. The Wicked Wager in this one is to bet on Miami giving up at least that many yards, and Allen getting 50+ yards on the ground. He’s going to crush this number, and so are we. Play the over and cash the ticket tomorrow night.

Miles Sanders NFL Week 15 Player Props

Total Rushing Yards Over 67.5 (-117) – BetRivers

Miles Sanders is having a terrific season. It couldn’t have come at a better time as he fights for a nice payday in his next contract. He’s over 1,000 yards rushing on the year and has found the endzone eleven times for the 12-1 Eagles.

Next up for Sanders and the Eagles are the Chicago Bears, at Soldier Field. Sanders rushing number is almost disrespectfully low, set at 67.5. Sanders is the lead back on a dynamic offense and has gone over that number eight times this year. That’s 61% of the games he’s played this year. Also, the Eagles offensive line is going to have no trouble opening big holes for the former Nittany Lion.

Chicago’s run defense is not good, allowing over 146 YPG this year. They will face an Eagles team that has rushed for 253 yards per game over their last three. Bottom line, Sanders is going to smash this number, and we are going to cash that ticket.

NFL Week 15 Player Props – Anytime Touchdown Scorers

J.K. Dobbins (+210)The Ravens are at a serious disadvantage without Lamar. However, they have this talented back to lean on. This is a great number for him to get into the endzone when he should lead the Ravens backfield.

A.J. Brown (-115) The Bears won’t be able to cover him. He scores.

Jamaal Williams (+125) It’s surprising that this is a plus money number considering he’s scored in eight of thirteen games. Either way, it’s great value.

James Conner (+115) – By sheer volume, this guy should score. Another good value at plus money.

Christian Watson (+145) – Rogers new favorite target has come through for him. This week, Rogers hits him again for 6 on Sunday.

Long Shot Bet: Donovan Peoples-Jones – Score 2+ TDs (+2000) – Something is clicking in Cleveland with DPJ and DeShaun Watson. He’s getting a monster target share and red zone opportunities. Sometimes you just have to throw a dart, and at +2000 it feels good!
