Los Angeles Rams
2021 Record: 12-5-0 (3-3-0)
The Rams had to do a little more work this offseason than they probably anticipated, caused by key departures of Odell Beckham, Jr., Robert Woods, and Von Miller.
The Rams answered by signing Allen Robinson, II, and drafting a plethora of talent in the defensive secondary. The good news is the Rams don’t have a pressing need for talent acquisition, as Los Angeles pushed in all of the chips on the current roster, hoping to recapture the glory of yesteryear.
The Rams will have a solid opportunity to pick up where they left off last year, with a Superbowl win.
Notable offseason additions
Allen Robinson, II, WR
Bobby Wagner, LB

Arizona Cardinals
2021 Record: 11-6-0 (4-2-0)
Arizona suffered a self-inflicted blow this offseason, receiving news that receiver DeAndre Hopkins would have to sit the first six games of the season due to violating the league’s PED policy.
This was not a part of the plan to strengthen the offense around quarterback Kyler Murray, but the Cardinals traded for Marquise Brown in response. The defense suffered a blow as well, with the departure of Chandler Jones to Las Vegas. This Arizona roster seems to be a bit in limbo, as the talent departures seem to outpace the incoming talent.
Arizona will need to hit on the majority of their moves to take a step forward this year.
Notable offseason additions

James Conner, RB
Marquise Brown, WR

San Francisco 49ers
2021 Record: 10-7-0 (2-4-0)
San Francisco has conveyed intentions to trade Jimmy Garoppolo, yet the quarterback still remains on the roster. A shoulder surgery has not helped the prospects of another team banging on the door to scoop him up.
Still, the 49ers have legitimate postseason hopes due to the ability to retain the majority of its solid roster. We don’t know the future of the quarterback position in San Francisco, but we do know the rest of the roster is good enough to carry whomever it is this year.
Notable offseason additions
Charvarius Ward, CB
Ray-Ray McCloud, WR
Oren Burks, LB

Seattle Seahawks
2021 Record: 7-10-0 (3-3-0)
We will now be forced to see what a Russell Wilson-less Seattle franchise looks like.
The Seahawks have been on the decline for a few years now but were able to remain competitive with Wilson at the helm. Now, there will be a quarterback competition between Drew Lock and Geno Smith to lead a depleted roster. A bit of good news is that the Seahawks may have drafted a franchise staple, Charles Cross, at a position of need to protect their new starting QB.
They also have a handful of draft picks after dealing Wilson but that won’t help them much for this year. The Seattle Seahawks will struggle this season against an otherwise stacked division.
