Buffalo Bills
2021/22 Record: 11-6-0 (5-1-0)
The Bills are heavily favored to win the AFC East, but the goals in Buffalo include more than just a division title. Looking to shore up the defensive interior, the Bills have added an influx of talent on the defensive line and a pass rusher in Von Miller. On the other side of the ball, Buffalo has upgraded offensive skill positions to complement their franchise quarterback, Josh Allen.
The Bills are poised to not only win the division, but to make a run at the Super Bowl.

New England Patriots
2021/22 Record: 10-7-0 (3-3-0)
The 2021 season was a promising one for Patriots fans, seeing Mac Jones prove his mettle as an NFL quarterback. However, the Pats have some questions to answer on the defensive side of the ball after a finish that was uncharacteristic of past New England defenses. Bill Belichick will also need to bolster the support around Jones, who will have a new offensive coordinator after the departure of Josh McDaniels. Even with the question marks, you should never count the Patriots out of competing for the division and making yet another playoff appearance.

Miami Dolphins
2021/22 Record: 9-8-0 (4-2-0)
Miami made one of the biggest offensive splashes bringing on dynamic receiver Tyreek Hill. This was only part of the effort to build around quarterback Tua Tagovailoa as the Dolphin offense also sees key additions at the running back position. Even with explosive talent at the skill positions, Miami will need improvement from its offensive and defensive interiors if it wants to be a true contender. After a disappointing 2021 season, new coach Mike McDaniel looks to return the Dolphins to the playoffs after a five-year drought.

New York Jets
2021/22 Record: 4-13-0 (0-6-0)
The Jets are trying to see which of its young talent it can build around after a haul of top picks in the draft. While the 2021 season was nothing short of ugly, there were some bright, albeit brief, moments on offense. The most obvious question is whether Zach Wilson can be the guy at quarterback and the Jets hope he can make a second-year leap. Returning Carl Lawson, who did not play in any 2021 games due to injury, will be a huge boost for the defense. The Jets may still be a ways away from competing in the division, but there is reason to believe they can improve on last year’s campaign.
