What a week we have. World cup, Thanksgiving, all major sports are going strong and a good slate of NBA hoops tonight. Our team has scoured the lines for tonight’s action and come up with our Wicked Wagers to add to the Holiday fund tonight. Here are the Tuesday NBA picks that you should be on.
Brooklyn Nets (-335) at Philadelphia 76ers (+255)
The Nets make the short trip to Philly tonight to take on the 76ers. This would typically be a matchup of powerhouse Eastern Conference teams. However, we won’t see Philly at full strength tonight, they’ll be without their best players, Joel Embiid, and Tyrese Maxey. The Nets have Kyrie Irving back after an 8-game absence, and Ben Simmons returns to the city of brotherly love. However, he should expect to receive no love at all.
BetRivers is offering us the best line right now, with the Nets favored by 8, and a total of 219. The money line on this game is outrageously lopsided, despite the absences of key players for Philly. The Nets have proven to be unreliable this year, which is indicated by their record of 8-9. Like their record, the Nets are also 8-9 ATS this year, giving us headaches as we try to bet on them. However, tonight will be different, as the Nets have an excellent opportunity to abuse a shorthanded rival. Not to mention pick up a key road win early in the season. This could end up being a meaningful game when the playoffs come around, as this game could settle a tie breaker situation.
Brooklyn is merely 1-1 ATS as a road favorite, while Philly is 3-0 as a home dog. That’s changing tonight, as the Nets will cruise to a victory. We are laying the 8 with Brooklyn tonight and you can expect a double-digit victory. We have also started to fade one of the worst offensive players in the league, Ben Simmons. He is one the weakest players mentally in the entire league, and his points prop of 10.5 is too many. We are playing the under 10.5 (-120) on him tonight. Expect him to have a good stat sheet with assists and rebounds, but don’t expect a lot of points. This guy has played 44 games in his career to this under, and tonight will be 45.
Another player we are on tonight is Joe Harris. Averaging 8.4 PPG on the year, he should get a lot of run in this game in a projected blowout. While he only averages 8.2 on the road, as lethal a shooter as he is, his points total is too low. At 9.5 (-125 to the over) it’s hard to think that he won’t eclipse this number, like he has in 3 of his last 5 outings. BetRivers has the shortest line for the Nets currently. However, expect that number to get bigger as the day goes on. Grab it as early as you can, as we are playing it all the way to -10.5 tonight.
Wicked Wagers – Nets -8 (Play to -10.5)
Wicked Player Props – Ben Simmons Under 10.5 Points / Joe Harris Over 9.5 Points
Detroit Pistons (+180) at Denver Nuggets (-230)
Detroit is off to a horrible start with a record of 3-15. It’s incredible that a team this talented can be so awful. On the other wide, Denver is picking up where they left off last season. They have started 10-6 and look like a true contender in the West.
Detroit will be without two of their best tonight, as Cade Cunningham and Saddiq Bey are out. The Nuggets have their own injury woes, as they will be without Aaron Gordon and Jeff Green. Also, Jamal Murray listed as Day to Day. However, Denver will have Nikola Jokic, and that’s going to be enough.
BetRivers has the shortest line out right now on this game, with Denver favored by a mere six points. This shouldn’t be a surprise given their overall record. Especially since Detroit is 0-10 straight up as a road underdog, and 3-6-1 in the same spot ATS. Denver covers the spread 60% of the time at home, with a record of 3-2, which will be 4-2 after tonight. Even with the missing pieces for Denver, Detroit won’t be able to hang with the Nuggets.
We are laying the points with the home team tonight, in what we all consider the most Wicked of Wagers tonight. Detroit is losing games by an average of 9.2 points this year, which won’t change on the road tonight. This is my favorite of these Tuesday NBA picks and will even increase my unit size for this one.
Go heavy and cash a great ticket tonight.
Wicked Wager – Nuggets -6 (Play to -8.5)
Sacramento Kings (-134) at Memphis Grizzlies (+110)
The Kings just might be legit. Legit enough to make the playoffs for the first time in forever, and they get an opportunity to improve their record tonight. They’ll be on the road against a shorthanded Memphis team. Memphis did get Jaren Jackson back, but he could still miss tonight’s game. Additionally, the Grizz will be without Ja Morant and Desmond Bane tonight. Those missing players are the only reason that the Kings are favored by 2.5 in this game. If both of those players were in the lineup, you’d see this game with Memphis as a heavy moneyline favorite, and around -5 for a spread.
Sacramento is a hot team right now, ripping off six straight wins, and going 8-2 over their last 10. This line makes no sense to me at all. The hottest team in the league up against a short-handed Grizzlies team, this line should be bigger. The Kings have won their last five games by an average of 14+ points. The most impressive aspect of the Kings is their road record ATS. Over their last sixteen road games, the Kings are 12-2-1, and 6-1 in their last seven. The Kings average margin of victory is 3.9 this year and are 2-1 ATS as a road favorite. All signs point to the Kings tonight pulling out the victory.
One thing to keep in mind is last years incredible run that Memphis had without Ja Morant, particularly at home. They were incredible and cashed a lot of tickets for us. This team is deep and will remain competitive despite the absences of their stars. This is the second-best play for tonight, and we are laying the 2.5 with the Kings tonight. Memphis won’t have enough juice in the tank to hang with this run and gun team for 48 minutes. Lay the points, and play this to Kings -4 as this line is going to creep up during the day.
Wicked Wager – Kings -2.5
